Editor / Production Team Leader


This position is responsible for ensuring the high quality of all final deliverables to Customers. Excellent organizational skills, as well as proven skill with writing and editing in many formats and media, are required. 

This position is also responsible for managing Production Teams, which consist of Word Processors, Desktop Publishers, and Graphic Designers. Prior experience in leading teams to meet deadlines with high quality is required.

  • Not only see the small details, but the overall picture as well, noticing typos and punctuation, taking a step back and looking at the overall page in a document, and seeing the layout, alignment, etc.

      » MS Word (formatting, tables, inserting graphics, text boxes)
      » MS Excel (formatting a worksheet, using the mathematical tools)
      » MS Project
      » MS PowerPoint
      » MS Outlook
      » Adobe Framemaker
      » Some knowledge of graphic design programs
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling rules and conventions, and copyediting marks
  • Embrace our procedures and follow them carefully, creating new ones as needed over time
  • Work well with all levels of management and employees to take our output to an even higher level of quality
  • Lead a team to achieve high standards within deadlines
