Researcher / Technical Writer

  
     
 

ALESYS Researcher/Technical Writers conduct research related to training and performance improvement in a variety of settings using various sources and research methodologies. In addition, they procedurize job tasks and work processes, and write user manuals and training programs based upon those processes and procedures. A Researcher/Technical Writer is responsible for developing research instruments and measurements, collecting and analyzing data, compiling and writing concise, professional reports, and presenting data to internal and external Customers.

You will be a member of Project Teams that may travel to Customer locations. Most work will be done at ALESYS' corporate headquarters.

A successful Researcher/Technical Writer must be able to:

  • Create questionnaires and surveys in a variety of formats
  • Conduct focus groups and interviews
  • Create databases in various software applications for analysis
  • Perform analysis of data using statistical software and methodologies
  • Compile findings into reports for presentation using a variety of software applications
  • Write succinctly and professionally
